BUILDING SOCIETY.
/ WORKMEN’S FRIEND. The directors of Workmen’s Friend Building Society met last night. There were present Mr T. Jen kins presiding, and Messrs T. 3 Braggins, W. H. Jackson, W. Kemp, H. J. O’Leary, A. E. Winzcnberg an! A. B. Wood. Apologies were received from Messrs F. J. Hunn and R. E. Jones. The finance report was adopted, and it was decided to hold an appropriation of £3OO by ballot and £3OO by sale at the annual meeting in February. An investment of £3OO appropriation temporarily in War Bonds was sanctioned. A transfer of two shares with un appropriation of £3OO was approved. No. 2 Building Society meeting was held after No. J. Routine business was transacted. It was reported that moneys were coming in freely and an other appropriation will shortly be held.
