EX-TEACHER’S EXI’ERIENCE. ESCAPES SERIOUS INJURY. NELSON, Jan. 4.—During the heli-, days Mr Bogers, of Appleby, who recently retired from the teaching profession, had a narrow escape from being gored to death by a Jersey bull, which attacked him without warning and knocked him down. Fortunately, ho managed to escape with no worse injuries than a broken rib and severe bruises. The bull had been dehorned, and had stumps about three inches long.—(P.A.)
