CLEARING SALE. ! Dalgoty and Co., Ltd., and the Wairarapa Farmers’ Co-op. Assn. Ltd., report on the clearing sale, held yesterday on account of the trustee in H. B. Bunny’s estate. Cows came forward in good condition, and had been milked as two herds. No calving dates were given. The whole entry of about 150 cows was put through in 2} hours, two big buyers from South Wairarapa taking mest of the stock. ; Results of the sale were very satisfactory. The best prices were up to £l2 15/, nothing under late calvers making less than £5 to £6. JOHNSONVILLE SALE. Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., report on the ‘Johnsonville sale as follows:—An average yarding of good quality sheep came forward, comprising chiefly wethers. A total clearance was effected at prices slightly easier than last rates. Lambs met a good sale at late rates. Several pens of good quality bullocks met with keen competition; others sold on a par with last week's rates. We quote:—Wethers 40/ up to 49/9, ewes to 56/, 4-1/ to 49/6, others 38/3, lambs 24/6 up to 29/6, bullocks £lO/15 up to £l6/15, vcalers £2/2/6 up to £2/18.
