NEW ZEALAND’S GREAT WIN. SYDNEY, July 30—In the first half of the game between the Now Zealand League team and Lismore, tho visitors were the scores at half-time being 18 to 5 against them. The New Zealanders changed their tactics in the second spell, and did not rely so much on their weight. They got the ball more often and made better use of it in the open. The home team led by one point two minutes before the call of time, but Dufty kicked a goal which decided the issue, 21 to 20 in, New Zealand’s favour. The New Zealand scorers were Parkes, Brown, Carroll, Avery and Kirwain one try oaeh, while Dufty kicked three goals.—(P.A.)
