SALVATION ARMY.
BAND APPEAL. The musical festival, arranged by the Masterton Salvation Army Bamn, assisted by the songsters and ethers, proved a great attraction last night, the largo assembly enjoying each item. Many encores were responded to. A selection of songs of Scotland deserves special mention, the solo parts being very fine. Among the numbers were a concertina duet and Welsh songs by a Welsh quartette. The, appeal was a great success, and the Band's thanks are expressed to donors and others who gave interest or help.
