MUSICAL UNION DANCE.

A PLEASANT EVENING. Perhaps the most successful dance ever held by the Masterton Musical Union took place at the Municipal Social Hall last evening, when about 100 couples were present. The hall had been prettily decorated and the music contributed in no small measure to the enjoyment. An excellent Bupper was provided by a ladies’ committee, comprising Mesdames A. B. Bigg, J. V. Garvitch, S. Smith, F. Mason, F. Whitton and Miss Z. Quin. The men’s committee, Messrs E. M. Swinerd, A. W. Maxted, H. F. Green and F. Mason, were indefatigable in* their efforts to make the evening a pleasurable one and must have been gratified at its success. Extras were played by Mrs Madden, and Messrs C. Spencer Compton and T. Vaughan. Messrs J. Bradbury and T. Vaughan ■were M’s.C.
