ST. MATTHEW’S CONCERT.
• A GREAT SUCCESS. At the St. Matthew’s Parish Hail last evening a very large audien * enjoyed an excellent concert, held in aid of the hall funds. A varied programme comprised songs, recitations, dances and a piano solo, the performers being as follows:—Mrs W. G. Perry, piano solo; Miss Linda McAliece, dance; Mias Zclma Carroll, character sketch and dance;'the Rev. W. Bullock, seng; Misses Peggy Sellar and Mary Logan, rose dance; Miss Margaret Grant, recitation; Miss Myra Giddings, song; Misses A. Webb, T. Strouts, J. Hosking, B. Baird and Joan Daniell, dance; Mr Harry Hall, humorous songs. The ♦sketch, “The Curate’s Courtship,” ’caused great merriment, the parts being well taken by Misses K. Dyer, M. Brown, A. Ramsey, R. Vincent, R. Robinson, E. Waddington and G. Hale.
