NAPIER WOOL SALES.

GOOD WOOLS WELL DOWN, ROUGH SELLS WELL. NAPIER, March 18.—The final Napier wool sale of the season was held to-night, when 12,566 bales were offered to the usual buyers. The catalogue consisted chiefly of late-shorn and back-country wools, generally heavy in condition and skirty. Bidding was fairly spirited. It appears that all good, bright wools are down about IJd to 2id per lb, low-gira.de, rough and cotty wools were keenly competed for and sold above expectations, some making as much as the good, bright lots. The bulk of the lambs’ wool was passed. -(P-A.)
