THE SIRDAR’S DEATH.
SUSPECTED ACCOMPLICES. EVIDENCE TRANSPIRING. CAIRO, Mar. 17.—1 t is' reliably stated that some of those arrested in connection with the murder of the Cirdar have confessed to participation in previous crimes, including the murders of Abdel Pasha Razek and Ismail Bey Zuhdi, outside the offices of the newspaper “Al Siassa,” in November, 1922. They are reported to have furnished the names of their accomplices. It is also stated that a. document has been found proving the participation of Dr. Chafik Mansour in the murder of the ex-Premier, Boutros Pasha Ghali, in 1910. Mansour is at present in prison in connection with the murder of the Sirdar. He is said to be showing signs of madness, but the police are of opinion that he is only shamming.— (A. and N.Z.)
