Present indications are for variable breezes, south-easterlies to northeasterlies prevailing northwards or East Cape and Kawhia, and northeasterlies and north-westerlies elsewhere shortly; weather mild and hazy; barometer falling in the south after about 24 hours. ! Masterton.—Mr B. Brown reported at 9 a.m. yesterday:—Barograph 30.25, steady; shade temperature, maximum 75.2, minimum 39.4, terrestrial 31, frost 1, bright sunshine llhrs.
