ANNUAL HOUSE MATCH. WON BY BANKS AND LAW. The annual house match between teams representing Banks, Law and Dentists, and' Stock and Station agents was played at the Memorial Park yesterday in glorious sunshine, the game resulting in a comfortable win for the former team. Banks and Law, captained by D. K. Logan, had first use of the wicket, and compiled 185, the opening batsmen, W. C. Perry, and G. D. Wilson quickly compiling 53 runs before being separated. Bundle followed with a well played 35. Vangioni and Montgomery were the principal scorers in the remainder of the team.

Stock and Station’s innings realised only 119 (Jenkins 38, Hore 24), Wilson (5 for 27), who camo on late, being the dcsctructivc factor. A followon Was just avoided, and Banks and Law took their second strike. This proved more profitable than the first, 193 runs being made. D. M. Montgomery played a forceful innings for 34, mostly in front of the wicket. Miles 31 retired, Wilson 29 retired and Vangioni 44 were responsible for the tally. Stock and Station, requiring 259, had put on 130 for eight wickets when time was called, Banks and Law securing a first innings win.
