SINGAPORE BASE.
NEW ZEALAND AND AUSTRALIA MATTERS FOB CONSIDERATION. LONDON, Mar. 11.—Mr L. 8. Amery, interrogated, said the Australian and New Zealand Governments would take into consideration the recent naval commitments before determining their contributions towards the Singapore Base. Mr W. C. Bridgman said that the 5 cruisers, which Mr Macdonald sanctioned, were already laid down. The Government was investigating further requirements.—(A. and N.Z.)
