Discussing racing in .England, he< said that the class of horses has fallen back. The depreciation has been especially noticeable since the war period. Racing is flourishing, and there is more money in the game than before, but, despite the fact that many Englishmen raced for the love of the sport only, it would not be long before they would have to more seriously consider the business side as in Australia.—(P.A.)
