DEAD BACK TO LIFE.

MURDERED MAN RETURNS. (Received 5.5 p.m.) ROME, Dec. 22.—A jury at Naples had just found a peasant named Sabatino guilty of the murder of a missing butcher with whom he had quarrelled 'when the latter rushed into the court. He explained that Sabatino during a fight knocked him senseless. Thereafter he suffered loss of memory and strayed away. He had only recovered that day when he first learned of the trial.

The judge adjourned the case for the purpose of the butcher’s identification.—(A. and N.Z.)
