INTO THREE SORTS. (Received 5.5 p.m.) / PARIS, Dec. 22.—-The Court in giving judgment in a case involving the sale of eggs, laid down three categories of eggs:— “New-laid,” or eating eggs, must be sold within a fortnight of being laid in the summer and a month in the’ winter. “Fresh eggs” may have undergone treatment but are fit to be \ised in the kitchen. “Preserved eggs” must be so* lab-’ elled.—(A. and N.Z.)
