NEW ZEALAND BUTTER.

POPULAR IN ENGLAND. Highly satisfactory results have been obtained from the display of local products in the New Zealand Pavilion, says the London “Tinies” of September 30. “The prejudice which has existed for a long time in this Country against frozen meat has received a shrewd blow from the exhibit of New Zealand mutton; while for honey from the same country there has been a consistent demand all through the run of the Exhibition, ’ and to date 25,000 packages of it have been sold in the Pavilion. The most remarkable returns, however, are those relating to New Zealand butter. A single tradesman in the North of England, for example, reports that his sales of Maoriland butter have increased 100 per cent in the last two months, and every week about 3000 parcels of butter are sold in the New Zealand Pavilion.”
