OPERA HOUSE. THE LONE STAR RANGER. The many picture patrons of Masterton who have been so long awaiting to see “The Lone Star Ranger” will bo delighted to know that the management of the. Opera House have secured this great picture to commence a three night season to-night. Tom Mix and his wonder horse Tony, do some wonderful work in this great Zane Grey story. It is the story of the life of the daring Texas Rangers who went out “to get their man,” “despite hazard and obstacle.” It is such a stirring hard-riding part, replete with romance, that has made Tom the favourite film actor that he is. Such a combination as Tom Mix and Zano G*rey in the Fox production promises to present an excellent picture. Also on the same programme is a wonderful two part Monkey comedy, and tho latest News. Seats are being reserved at Henderson’s. COSY DE LUXE. The programme at the Cosy de Luxe will bo secreenod finally to-night. “Maytime” has been likened to “Old Heidelberg” and “Milestones,” but it owes its great success to a touch not found in either. The elements which made tho play so suceeessful ’arc emphasised even more strongly in the picture version. The story opens in the days of our grandfathers and carries down to tho modern jazz age.
