SPAIN’S CRISIS.
EXPULSION FROM AFRICA. LONDON, Dec. 16.—The “Daily Express’’ says that a sensational development has occurred in Morocco. The Spaniards, after seven years’ strenuous fighting and the vast expenditure of • .lives and money, retreated before the Biffs. "Now the Anjera tribes north of Tetuan ■ uresuddenly revolting, and the Spaniards are seriously menaced in front at id tile rear. Tetuan is threatened, and the situation is Tangier may become critical. The Spanish Embassy states that it is all part' of a general movement, due to propaganda from outside> which began in Egypt, spread to Tunis, and has now affected 10,000 Arabs. Spain is in danger of losing her last foothold in Morocco. Great Britain is affected because of the proximity of Gibraltar, and France is alarmed because of Algiers and interests in Tangier.
