GRAVEL AND SAND FROM WAIOHINE RIVER BED. is hereby given that ou and after the Ist day of August, 1924, the removal of gravel, sand or shingle from the bed of the Waiohine river or other property under the jurisdiction of the Ahikouka River Board is prohibited unless by arrangement with the Board. Permits for the removal of such gravel, sand or shingle from places to be indicated by the Board will be issued by the Board on application to the undersigned, and the scale of charges will be as follows:— TO LOCAL BODIES: •Sixpence (6d) per cubic yard for shingle. One shilling (1/-) per cubic yard for sand. TO THE PUBLIC: One shilling (1/-) per cubic yard for shingle. One shilling and sixpence (1/6) per cubic yard for sand.
