FARMERS’ FARM SCHOOL.
OPENS ON MONDAY. The school will be officially opened on Monday at 7 p.m. on the Solway Showgrounds. The Mayors of the boroughs in’ the district, members of Parliament, presidents of the Agricultural and Pastoral Associations and farmers organisations have been InvbeJ to be present. .... • 1 The first lectufe, to commence at 8 p.m., will be on herd-testing, by Mr J. R. Curie, dairy instructor for the ( district. j There will be about 60 farmers in I residence at Solway for the period. I The school is open to any farmer to attend lectures on any subject he may be interested in. Farmers may obtain particulars as to time of lectures from Mr J. Hebenton, secretary of tho Farmers’ Union.
