MONTHLY MEETING. . The Masterton Trust Lands Trust met last night, there being present Messrs A r ßippon (chairman), R. Krahagen,* W. T. Grundy, J. L. Hughes, D. Caselberg, and C. E. Daniell. Messrs , T. Wagg, E. G. Eton and J. M. Coradine apologised for absence. The finance committee reported dr. balance £lO6 14/11; rents for month £1131:3/1. Accounts totalling £23B’ 3/6 were passed. Tho Clerk of Works, Education Board, wrote expressing thanks for obtaining tenders for reinstatement qf recreation ground (Central school) fence. Mrs A- A. Long withdrew her application for lease of shop in Kall street.' Masterton eheviists forwarded lease of portion of building in Church street. The State Fire Office advised that preraiiims for the year would be £l3O 13. ’B. An application for lense of a section in Dixon street was referred to tho building and leasing committee. Watson, Gooder and Lee forwarded report on building erected in Chureh street.—Dock’ed to make no claim on account of extension of time. _ The Trust’s architect submitted report -qn electric lighting contract. The chairman’s action in accepting tho tender of the Masterton- Printing Company, £9 19/6 for 2200 . balance sheets and reports was endorsed. The report of Mr Daniell an* the ' secretary on arrangements’ mh'do for lease of offices to V. S. Wilton and the Receiver of tho Wellington Farmers’ Meat Co. (in liquidation) was adopts ed. ' The chairman’s action in accepting Huhne and Penistone’s tender of £63 10/ for alterations to Hall street shop was endorset!. The building and leasing committee reported that the new building in Church street was completed and Mr G. Hyde-was in occupation.
