ST. PATRICK’S BALL.

A SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION. A delightful evening was spent by about 150 couples who attended the St. Patrick’s ball held at the Municipal Hall last night. No effort had been spared by the large and energetic committee in making the ball a success, and the good music played by Robertson’s orchestra was a feature. An excellent supper was provided by the ladies’ committee, the table decorations being artistically carried out. The ladies’ committee comprised Mesdames A. B. Bunny, J. McNulty, T. G. Vangioni, Mitchell, E. J. Eastwood, Connors, Crosby, R. Smith, Hogan, Shadbolt, and Misses Diggans, Michell, McKenna, Wickcns, Cross, Frost and Rossiter. Messrs T. McCracken, B. Welch, J. Hunter, and A. Louisson were M’s.C. and Father F. Devlin was secretary.
