RUGBY FOOTBALL.
WAIRARAPA NOMINATIONS. FOR GROUP TEAM. The Wairarapa selectors, Messrs n*. McKenzie, J. O’Leary, and M. McGuire, met at Carterton last night and decided to nominate the following players for the group match to be played at Wanganui on May 16. Backs.—F. Booth, R. Booth (Gladstone), R. Jury (Greytown), H. Carson, L. Bishop (Red .Stars). Forwards. *■—Q. Donald, J. Donald (Featherston), lan Harvey, M. Willoughby (Masterton), 3. Willoughby (Red Stars}. Mr E. McKenzie will be the Wairarapa representative on the selection committee that will pick the group team, which will be drawn from Wai-rarapa-Bush, Horowhenua and Wellington.
The players mentioned are requested to communicate with Mr J. O. Pinhey (Masterton) at once.
