It is estimatedr that 490,000 bales of wool have been sold this season. The grand total for the Dominion will be over the half mill ioh mark when the remaining sales are completed at Wa* nganui, Auckland and Christchurch. An eel landed at Aberdeen by a trawler weighed 881 b. and measured 7ft. in length and 26in. in girth. It was caught in the North Sea about to miles from land.
