Masterton.—Mr R. Brown reported at 9 a.m. on Sunday:—Shade temperature, maximum 64, minimum 38.4, terrestrial 31.6, frost 0.4 points, bright sunshine Saturday shrs 20min, Sunday 50min. For the week the highest maximum shade temperature was 64.8, lowest minimum 37.2, giving an extreme range of 27.6, rain 3 points, bright sunshine 32hrs ISmin, two frosts. At 9 a.m. Saturday:—Shade temperature, maximum 52.2, minimum 33.6, terrestrial 30.4, frost 1.6, bright sunshine 6hrs smrn.
