ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL.
THE P. AND T. CLUB. A meeting of the newiy-formed P. and T. Association football team was held in the Y.M.C.A. rooms last evening, and the interest displayed promises well for the success of the game. The following officers were elected: President, A. E. Hounsell; vice-pre-sidents, C. F. Vallance, 0. H. Beetham, H. O. Toogood, L. A. Wadham, L. S. Nicol; committee, W. Nicholls (chairman), W. J. C. Miller, W. Harding, J. R. Miller, E. Nansett; secretary and treasurer, J. R. Miller. It was decided to procure a ball immediately, and that as players were freely coming forward practices be commenced to ensure the picking of the team to compete in the 1923 competition for the Pragnell Cup, which has been donated by His Worship the Mayor. Mr L. A. Wadham has donated a medal to be given to the most improved player for the 1923 season. The club colours are to be yellow and black, with black pants. Members’ subscriptions were fixed at ss. It was decided to call a further meeting to fix on the date and place of practices, and members will be notified later of this meeting.
