THE TURF FRAUDS.
TRIAL OF MRS PEEL. (Received 7.35 p.m.) London, March 13.—The trial of Mrs Peel has commenced at the Old Bailey. The prosecution stated that Mrs Poel had an income of £7OOO per year and allowed her husband £2OO per month. Counsel incidentally drew attention to a mysterious £2OO paid into Dow’s banking account. —(A. and N.Z.)
