ST. PATRICK’S DAY.
NATIONAL CONCERT AT MASTERTON. At the Opera House on Saturday evening an entertainment of exceptional merit has been arranged to celebrate the festival of Ireland’s patron saint. Amongst those contributing—some are new to Masterton, and will be supported by the best local talent in rendering the national eongs and dances of Ireland. Every effort has been made by the committee to make this year’s concert the equal of any yet held, and patrons are assured of an enjoyable evening. The orchestra will be the Caledonian, under the conductor ship of Mr G. Gray, and the accompanist Mrs Bromley Hill.
