BOWLING.
DOMINION TOURNAMENT. Dunedin, Jan. 19.—The Dominion bowling tournament was continued to-day, in perfect weather, the rinks competition being resumed on eleven greens. Reduced games of 21 heads were again played, and by this means section play was completed according to programme time. To-morrow the rink finals will begin on three greens on the two-life system, those with six or more wins to their credit competing. It players become available from the rinks competition, a start will be made on the Dunedin green to find the winners of the singles and doubles. . The following are left in the rinka competition:—Henderson, Carswell, S wins; Tonkin, Cox, Pietersen, Coltman, 7; Munro, Maddison, Parsons, Burson. Karraway, Stark, Piercy, Lindsay Thorn. Watts, Kerr. CoiAe, Claridge. Balk. Payne. Robertson, Smellie. Thomson, 6.—(t’.A.) (Special to ‘‘The Age.”) Dunedin, Jan. 19.—The Mastertor rink—Baskiville, Gordon, H. Perry Kerr (s) —have qualified to plaj among the section winners, having sc cured six wins.
