SCHOOL SPORTS.

AT CARTERTON. (Our I ravelling- Reporter.) J he annual school sports under the auspices of the South Wairarapa .Schools .Sports ’ Association were held at Carterton yesterday, under ideal conditions. All the schools, with the exception of Featherston, were represented. The gathering was a big success, and too much praise cannot bo given to Mr W. A. Baskiville, who was ably assisted by Mrs Hosking and Miss Armstrong (press stewards). Messrs T. Clarke, J. Williams and Stratford acted as judges, and Mr W. Hall made a capable starter. The afternoon tea arrangements were in the hands of Mesdames Foss, Dixon, J . Ashton, and. Misses Braithwaite and Colquhoun.
