THE FIRST TEST.
N.Z. TEAM TO HAVE A WEEK’S TRAINING. Wellington, Aug. 4.—The North Island members of the New Zealand team for the first test match at Dunedin on Saturday week, together with the extra players chosen, will assemble in Wellington to-morrow to proceed south by to-morrow night’s steamer. The whole team are to bo in Dunedin on Saturday to go into training. A. McDonald, associated with W. J. Stead, is coach for the team, and D. M. Stuart will be manager.—(P.A.)
