The Kev. I). C Hates wired last night:---Strong southerly uiul easterly winds, and changeable conditions provailed on Saturday and Sunday, with j-ain in many parts. But the weather litis been fair generally to-day. Winds moderate and variable. The atmospheric pressure is now high over tho Dominion. Preesnt indications arc for moderate to strong easterlies northward of Knwliiii and East Cape, and variable winds elsewhere, with northeasterlies to south-easterlies prevailing.
