THE TREATY OF SEVRES.
THE TURKISH ATTITUDE. RELATIONS WITH BOLSHEVIKS. (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Australian-N.Z. Cable Association.) CONSTANTINOPLE, Dec. 12. Abdul Medjid, Heir to the Turkish Throne, in an interview by a French journalist, said that pence in Asia Minor could not be attained until the Treaty of Sevres was modified. It was very fragile. Turkey might have been in Eastern Europe what Poland was in Central Europe—a barrier against Bolshevism. The close relations between the Komalists and Bolsheviks were merely provisional. While the Bolsheviks were nut for the destruction of the world, the Komalists sought only the destruction of the Treaty of Sevres, and would cease tho connection when they obtained satisfaction.
