ALLEGED PROFITEERING.
THE "BIG BEN" CASES.
A number of charges against Christchurch firms of selling "Big Ben" alarm clocks at an unreason-
able profit, and against others of counselling the sale of the clocks at an excessive profit, were commenced in the Magistrate's Court yesterday.
After counsel had addressed the Court, and one witness had been hoard, the cases were adjourned until to-day.
