8. MAHARAHARA HANDICAP »(Open).—Of 200 sovs., second horse 40 sovs., and third horse 20 sovs. from the stakes. One mile and about 170 yards. Minimum weight Bst. Nomination, 1 sov.; I acceptance, 3 sovs. PENALTIES. Flat Races: The winner of any flat race after declaration of weights, if handicapped under Bst. 10 lb, to carry 101b penalty, and for every additional race 61b if handicapped at Bst. 101b or over, to carry only half the above penalties. NOMINATIONS, WEIGHTS, AND i ' ACCEPTANCES. Nominations close at the Secretary's Office, Woodville ,at 8 p.m. on Friday. 30 th January, 1920. Weights for all races on first day of Meeting will be declared on Friday, 6th February, 1920.
