Important Developments PREDICTED IN ENGLAND. (By Eleotrio Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Australian-NX Cablo Association.) Received Last Night, 7.35 o'clock. LONDON, Dec. 17. The Globe states that important aerial developments arc pending. Vickcrs', Short's, and Bcardmorc's have practically completed a combine with which several shipping magnates arc associated. It is intended to acquire R34 and R39, and start passenger services inland in Britain, Holland, and- Scandanavia. The next project will probably be a demonstration flight to Egypt. A weekly service to America ia contemplated, but it ia likely to bo deferred for a considerable time. Meanwhile, the combine will examine tho possibilities of Dominion services.
