PETITION UNDER "THE ELECTRIC POWER BOARDS ACT, 1918." pUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that after the expiry of one mouth from the date of this publication, the following petition will be presented to His Excellency the Governor General: TO HIS EXCELLENCY THE RIGHT HONOURABLE ARTHUR \VILLIAM DE BRITO SAVILLE, EARL OF LIVERPOOL, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His-Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies. rplIE PETITION of the undersigned Ratepayers of: (a) Tho Masterton County. (b) The Borough of Masterton. (c) The South Wairarapa County. (d) The Borough of Carterton. (e) The Featherston County. (f) The Borough of Greytown. (g) The Borough of Featherston. (h) The Town District of Martinborough respectively sheweth: 3. That your Petitioners are the owners and occupiers of the lands the descriptions of which are set opposite tho respective signatures of your Petitioners in the First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth Schedules hereto respectively. 2. That the lands referred to in paragraph One hereof are situated within the boundaries of the area described in Paragraph' Three hereof, which area it is proposed to have constituted an electric power district as hereinafter appears. 3. That the area which it is proposed to have constituted an electric power district is situated in the Masterton County, the Masterton Borough, Wairarapa South County, the Carterton Borough, the Featherston County, the Greytown Borough, the Featherston Borough, and the Martin--borough Town District," contains over acres, and is bounded as follows: DESCRIPTION.
