THE CHAMPIONSHIPS. (By Telegraph—Press Association) WANGANUI, Last Night. The Wanganui agricultural show opened to-day. Rain fell most of tho afternoon. The following are the championships:— Shorthorns: Bull, C. A. Turner, Eltliam; cow, Dalziell Bros. Aberdeen Angus: Bull and cow, C. G. Russell. Herefords: Bull 'and cow, G. F. Mooi-e, Kai Iwi. Friesians: Bull and cow, Moutnahaki State iarm. Jerseys: Bui] and Cow, H. Hodge, Alton. Milking Shorthorns: Bull, Mrs. J. Wall, Hastings; cow, H. Slack, Taikorea. Lincolns: Ram, W. Birch, Maxwelltown; ewe, Donald Bros., Brunswick. Ryelands: Ram and ewe, Moumahaki State Farm. Romney Marsh: Ram, Blair and Hunter; ewe, Donald Bros., Brunswick. Southdown: Ram and ewe, James Knight, Feilding.
