Many letters are appearing in 3ft> papers, directed particularly against the women's daring dress. Father O'Reilly openly attacks race suicide. He says that Australia is rapidly becoming like Franco, which had cast off the Church. Unless jfcho nation retraced its -s'eps, it woujd be on the road to extinction. Referring to the number of divorces, he added: "Wo are rapidly as a nation becoming a disgrace to civilisation."
