DANGER OP SURPRISE ATTACK

The Premier informed a deputation that the naval and military advisors must examine the dangers of a surprise at'ack, before, the Government commits itself to the Channel tunnel. If the report is favourable, the Government will be. willing to give tho proposed tunnel a general support. If otherwise, it would accept no responsibility.
