TARATAHI SALE. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Masterton, report having held a sale in their Taa-atahi yards ;on Thursday, 7th instant ,when there was a fair attendance and a full yarding of both sheep and cattle, far in excess of the advertised numbers, coining forward. Competition was fairly keen, and a good clearance was made at the following prices:—Sheep: Six-tooth ewes 29s 9d, 2 and 4-tooth ewes and wethers 24s Bd, four-year ewes 22s os to 23s Nd, mixed aged owes 21s sd, small 2-tooth wethers 18s Bd, f.m. ewes 10s, 10s 6d to 17s, good rape lambs ISs to 19s Id. medium rape Jambs Ms to .Ms, cull lambs 6s 4d to 10s. I invited, report having held a Hearing sale on account of the- trustees of the estate of the late W .Perry .at Upper Plain, on Thursday. There was not a large attendance of buyera, and the sale was rather a dragging one. The following are some of the prices realised:—-Four-tooth wethers Ms 7d, mixed aged ewes 19s, fat heifers £ll 10s, draught horses £ll to JUIS, D.F. plough £l3 los, disc harrows £B. set scales £7 10s, potato plough £4, drill £l7, Tea per and binder £1.3 ids, dray «-£lt) 10s. Harness, sundries, etc., sold at lull clearing sale rates.
