NEW PLYMOUH SESSIONS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Last Night. The Supreme Court opened to-day before Mr Justice Edwards. George Thomas Gifkens appeared for sentence on a charge ot forgery and littering. He was admitted to probation for two years and ordered to pay. the costs of the prosecution. Ngatai Peririka- was acquitted on two charges of cattle 'stealing. Mark Do Gama pleaded guilty to one charge and was found guilty on another of committing an unnatural offence upon little boys at Hawera. He was sentenced to fiw years' imprisonment on each charge,, the sentences to be consecutive.
