STRIKES IN GERMANY
A BLESSING FOR THE EMPLOYERS
(Australian-N.Z. Cable Association.) \ (Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) AMSTERDAM, February 2. IThe newspaper "Germania" asserts that the strikes are a blessing for tjie employers. They will only hurt the workers. The employers, it says, were about to close their works for several days, owing to the coal shortage. The employers had agreed to pay five-sevenths of the expenses of the lock-out.
