The Assembly has appointed a Select Committee to report on the provision for returned soldier,s, particularly as to training and assisting them to return to civil occupations.. M, Herizpg, opposed the committee on the ground that it was not in the interests of the country to do anything -o encourage a continuaticfti of the war.
