Sir Francis Blake (Coalitionist) 3794 Dr. Turn bull (Independent) 611 (Tlie Berwickshire scat was occupied by Mr Tennent, late UnderSecretary for War. On Lord Derby's appointment to the Under-Secretary-stup, Mr Tennent became Secretary for Scotland.)
