A.FIGHT IN THE AIR. (Received Last Night, 10.30 o'clock.) LONDON, December 28. Official.—The seaplane attack occurred in daylight at Sohiiligroods, close to Cuxhaven, starting near Heligoland, whence the Germans attacked s the British vessels Arethusa and Undaunted, with two Zeppelins, four seaplanes, and several submarines. , ■ The Britishers were obliged to await the British seaplanes, which returned and engaged tho German aircraft and submarines, easily driving off the Zeppelins, and avoiding submarines ,by swift manoeuvres. The seaplanes dropped bombs near tho British ships without hitting them. Out of seven airmen, the British ships- picked up three with their machines. . The submarines picked up three and sank the machine. As, arranged, HewlittV machine was sighted and wrecked eight miles off Heligoland.
