Reid, the owner of the dam, and breeder of "Baron of Bnrn*ide," has made a practice of ncwir •xhibting his stock at any agr-nitu-al show, and consequently neither the dam nor the colt were shown white in Mr Reid's ownership. "Maori Belle, however, was considered to be tip top •tamp of a Clydesdale mare, and her breeding is of undoubted merit, and of sound lines.
