POSSIBILITY OF RE-OPENING

Tho Stock Exchange Committee has ordered all members to make., a confidential return of the amounts they owe the banks, stating whether ,without a margin, amd also the amount they ha,ve open in Consols of Irish 2| per cents., and Indian 3 and 3J per cents.; also Colonial and foreign partly-paid scripts, and all stocks and shares, for which the Settlement Department undertakes n.
settlement. It is believed tlio information is required in order to ascertain whether a re-opening of the Stock Exchange is possible.
