ATTEMPT TO WRECK A TROOP TRAIN

ON CANADIAN RAILWAY.

A troop train, on the Canadian Northern Railway, narrowly missed destruction. An iron rail had been placed across the track in attempt to derail the train. The speed of the train tore the rail loose and flung it aside. No harm was done.
