RECRUITING COMMITTEE.
FORMED IN ENGLAND
(Received this morning, 1.30 o'clock.) LtTNDON, Sept. 1.
At Earl Kitchener's request, all political parties have formed a joint Recruiting- Committee, including the leaders, the Whips, and the chief officials, with Messrs Asquith, BonarLaw, and Henderson as Presidents. Major General Rawlinson will serve on the Committee.
Besides public meetings, suitable publications will be issued. Mr F. Smith admits that he per6on ally edited the ''Times" message on Sunday, aii3 added a paragraph, insisting on the necessity for increased recruiting.
